OPALOMA x Culture ON Tour | Niagara
Join me and Ontario Culture Days for a behind the scenes look at Niagara’s cultural spaces on a guided one-day tour from Toronto!
Led by Opaloma, this small-group experience includes a behind-the-scenes tour of the Shaw Festival costume department, an artist-led talk and workshop at Niagara Artist Centre, and a shared winery lunch and tasting.

OPALOMA AT ART TORONTO 2025
I will be leading a free public tour at Art Toronto on Saturday, October 25th at 12pm. We’ll be visiting a range of booths including those presented by some of my favourite Canadian galleries, as well as spaces that are new to me at this year’s fair.

OPALOMA AT TOAF 2025
I will be leading a free public tour at the Toronto Outdoor Art Fair on Friday, July 11th at 2pm. “All Things Design & Style” will take us to booths at the fair featuring beautiful objects that elevate the everyday, from jewellery and ceramics to thoughtfully-crafted textile works.

Our first event takes guests for a tour of TD Bank’s Corporate Art Collection, including the vault where the curatorial team works. Discover unexpected art by Canadian creatives and enjoy a whiskey tasting from Masala Whiskey.

The tour included a stop at the Contemporary Textile Studio Co-op to observe a workshop and learn more about their space, time to shop at the Spacing Store, and visits to:
Tangled Art Gallery, which has the mission “to support Disabled, d/Deaf, chronically ill, neurodiverse, k/crip, Mad, sick & spoonie artists; to cultivate Disability Arts in Canada; and to increase opportunities for everyone to participate in the arts.” Here we'll see the exhibition Fragile from sculptor and interdisciplinary artist, Gillian Genser
Open Studio, the print-centric artist-run centre where we'll see an immersive installation and sound project by Rochelle Rubinstein and Jennifer Lindsay, as well as an installation by Leila Fatemi
Gallery 44, the photography-focused space with current exhibitions by Hannah Doucet, Rachel Beamer, Arman Bahreini, and Octonio Zion Duff
Abbozzo Gallery, which will be in the final day of its Holiday Group Exhibition
Red Head Gallery, which will be showcasing the phenomenal work of Tazeen Qayuum, whose work I'm always thrilled to see! And Tazeen will be in the gallery that day to take us through the show
